AI Agent for Advertisingby Eye To Ad Media

Facebook, Instagram, lead ads

An AI agent for Facebook and Instagram ads that catches fatigue before your budget does.

Meta's delivery system is very good at spending your budget. It is less good at telling you the creative is tired, the lead form answers are piling up, or the results in Ads Manager do not match your CRM. An AI agent for Meta ads watches those gaps every day and brings you the fixes to approve.

The Meta chore list

Six things it handles in your Meta ad account

Creative fatigue

It tracks frequency and response by ad, day by day. When frequency climbs while click-through and cost per result slide, it flags the ad, ranks which concepts to refresh first, and drafts the brief for new creative.

Lead ad follow-up

Instant Form leads are only worth something if someone answers them while the person still remembers filling them in. The agent picks up each new lead, sends your approved first message, and alerts the right person.

Primary text and headline drafts

It drafts new copy angles from your best performers, your reviews and your offer, sized for placements and checked against your banned-claims list and special category rules.

Comment moderation drafts

Questions under your ads get a drafted answer; obvious spam is queued for hiding; complaints go straight to a person with the context attached.

CRM truth versus Ads Manager

It compares Meta-reported leads with what actually landed in your CRM and what turned into a sale, so you can see which campaigns bring real customers.

Learning-phase and pacing alerts

It warns you when an edit would reset learning, when an ad set is stuck in limited learning, or when daily spend is running far from plan.

Platform realities

What the Meta Marketing API allows, and what it asks of you

Access is permission by permission

An agent talks to Meta through an app tied to your Business portfolio. Each capability is a separate permission, such as reading ad performance or managing ads (Meta permissions reference). For your own ad accounts, the standard access tier is enough. Managing accounts owned by someone else requires the higher access tier, granted per permission through App Review, usually with business verification (Meta Marketing API: access levels).

Least privilege with system users

We connect the agent through a system user in your Business portfolio and assign it only the ad accounts, pages and pixels it needs. No personal logins are shared, and you can remove the system user in one click.

Paused by default

The Marketing API lets software create campaigns, ad sets and ads in a paused state. When you approve a new ad the agent drafted, it is created paused, you review it in Ads Manager, and only then does it go live.

Sending real outcomes back

Meta's Conversions API supports a CRM integration for businesses that generate leads on Facebook and Instagram and close them later. Meta describes it as a separate setup from website events, and its guide expects lead ads, a lead ID stored in your CRM and regular daily uploads (Meta Conversions API for CRM integration). The agent prepares those uploads and reports what matched.

Special ad categories

Ads about financial products and services (formerly the credit category), employment, housing, and social issues, elections or politics must be declared, and they switch off some targeting options such as age, gender and ZIP code (Jon Loomer Digital: special ad categories). The agent's drafts and audience suggestions respect those limits automatically.

Competitor research has limits

The Ad Library API covers ads about social issues, elections or politics, plus ads delivered to the EU and associated territories (Meta Ad Library tools). Most US commercial ads are only viewable in the public Ad Library website, so a person does that review with the agent's checklist.

Guardrails

Why the Meta agent drafts and you decide

Meta's delivery system reacts to every edit. Small, frequent, unreviewed changes are one of the fastest ways to keep campaigns stuck in learning.

Automatic

  • Reading insights and lead form submissions
  • First-touch replies from approved templates
  • Fatigue, pacing and policy alerts
  • Reports and CRM comparisons

Your approval

  • Budget and bid strategy changes
  • Pausing or launching ads and ad sets
  • Every word of copy and every comment reply
  • Audience and placement suggestions

Off limits

  • Payment methods and spending limits
  • Page roles and Business portfolio admins
  • Deleting campaigns, ads or audiences
  • Special-category targeting outside Meta's rules
A word on reported results. Platform-reported conversions use the platform's own attribution settings and modeling, so they rarely match your CRM exactly. The agent shows both side by side and never quietly picks the flattering number.

Questions

Meta ads agent questions

Can an AI agent run my Facebook ads?

It can run the chores around them: watching fatigue, drafting new copy, answering lead form submissions, moderating comments for your review and reporting. Meta's own Advantage+ tools already decide delivery and placement. Budget changes, new ads and anything public stay with a person.

Does it work with Instagram ads too?

Yes. Facebook and Instagram ads live in the same Meta ad account and the same Marketing API, so one agent covers both, including placements, creative performance and lead forms.

What access does a Meta ads agent need?

A Meta app connected to your Business portfolio, a system user with access to only the ad accounts and pages involved, and the permissions for the job, such as reading ad insights or managing ads. Working with accounts you do not own requires Meta's higher access level and App Review, which we handle as part of setup.

Will it follow special ad category rules?

Yes. If you advertise housing, employment, financial products and services, or social issues, the agent knows the campaign is in a special category, keeps drafted copy and targeting suggestions inside those limits, and sends anything borderline to you.

Can it watch what competitors run on Facebook?

Partly. The official Ad Library API covers ads about social issues, elections or politics, plus ads delivered to the EU and associated territories. For ordinary US commercial ads, the agent prepares a checklist of competitor pages for a person to review in the public Ad Library and logs what they note.
