28 example AI agents for advertising we can build

Every card is a working idea for an AI ad agent: what it watches, what it does, what a person signs off on, and the tools it plugs into. Steal one, combine two, or bring us the chore that is not on the list.

How to pick the right first agent

The best first agent is rarely the most impressive one. It is the chore that happens every week, follows the same steps each time, and annoys someone enough that they will happily review the agent's work during the pilot. Three quick tests:

  • Frequency: it happens at least weekly, ideally daily. Rare tasks are cheaper to keep doing by hand.
  • Clear inputs: the data lives in a system with an API or a clean export, not in someone's head.
  • Safe failure: if the agent gets one wrong, a person catches it before money moves or a customer sees it.

Agents that only read and report (pacing alerts, QA checks, weekly recaps) are the lowest-risk place to start. Agents that draft changes for approval come next. We only discuss any action without approval after an agent has a track record in your accounts. For the platform details, see the Google Ads agent, Meta ads agent and ad reporting agent pages.

Not on the list? That is the fun part.

Describe the task in a sentence or two. We will tell you whether an agent is the right tool, or whether a simpler fix will do.
